Could you be a bit more specific? No need for every post, but more details.
Just that you were saying there were no examples of police harassing people who weren't doing anything illegal, and there are many examples of this, even though they were doing something illegal by protesting during curfew (violation of a curfew is illegal). In the case of the protesters for Covid quarantine, they were also violating the law in the exact same manner, yet your tone regarding that protest was decidedly pro the protest. Both cases are the exact same legally, in my opinion.
okay, originally I was asking for examples which were then provided and in my most chicken shit manner was still holding on to breaking the curfew is breaking the law. Does this warrant a thumping by the cops? No. Should they be able to see the difference between kids just protesting and actaul threats? Yes. Should I not be so stubborn in my positions? Absolutely. In regard to the Covid protesters it just seems to me that the threat level in that situation was far less than being in the middle of a riot with both good people and violent criminals embedded together, and yes the Covid protesters had guns which was IMO silly and I would guess the police thought so too. None the less from a strictly legal position both are equally guilty and I can see how someone can argue if you're going to bust heads on the one group, you should bust heads on the other. For both groups I am pro protest and support any and all in their peaceful protests up to and including MFing police and other authority figures. You lay hands on people, burn down buildings, etc. then you lose me.
