Obama will impose martial law they said, he'll impose a military dictatorship they said...

Of course you guys were all up in arms when the protesters with guns stood on the steps of the State Capital to protest the stay at home order that they were violating and you agree they should have been arrested or the cops could have beat them and it was ok....

stay at home order.....curfew.....both should be equal right?

Of course you guys were all about enforcing the police action when it was about Covid, but not now that it is about "peaceful" protests. That knife cuts both ways, my friend.

I'm not saying they shouldn't be out past the curfew. I'm saying that if you decide to stay out and put yourself in the path of the police, then don't whine when you catch a rubber bullet. It isn't the police's fault.

Did they fire those guns? Assualt anyone? Burn down a building or two? Turn over any vehicles? Any act of violence at all? Peaceful protests are legal. So is owning a gun. Your argument is completely incorrect in comparison of the two groups in question.

But he has a valid point about the fact that they broke a legal order to "stay at home", which is the same as breaking a curfew. So technically, both the protesters breaking curfew and these groups that broke the Covid quarantine to approach the capital and protest are guilty of the exact same crime.

No, they stormed into a building with guns in violation of city ordinance to exercise their first amendment, much like all the peaceful protests in violation of curfew or not having permits.

Let me know when they shoot those guns while "storming" the building. Then you have a fair comparison. Until then all you have is your bottomless basket of apples and oranges.

How are people kneeling in the middle of the street with their hands up unprovoked shooting guns?

Your willful blindness is astounding. Among the kneeling are thousands, yes thousands of extremely violent and dangerous criminals and anarchists. Continue to minimize hoping you'll be spared along the way. The mob has no more need for useful idiots, other than the Mayors and Governors who are providing cover for them.

The problem people are having with is the peaceful protesters being brutalized w/o provocation, not the looters breaking windows. Don't expect people to sit still and unresponsive once you start cracking their skulls.

Unenforced curfews are worthless. Don't be out after curfew, no cracked skull. Police, without regard to the narrative, are not just randomly walkinh up to some kid and beating on them, day or night, curfew or not.

This is typical of left posters who can never take a position on anything lest they have to defend those positions. You'll always see the defense "please show me where I said" without actually clarifying what it was they said. They leave the effort on the person reading to draw a conclusion. This is how cowards operate. The brave take a stand one way or the other.

You posted a screenshot of an individual who was hit by the police by a foam rubber bullet. The picture quite dramatically shows the injuries suffered by the rubber bullet. The commentary around the picture is decidedly negative to the police and takes the side of the "protester".

Please clarify what your point of posting this was, if it was not to say the police acted irresponsibly.

Spike? You disappeared again, buddy. I thought we were having a good conversation and then you went all AWOL one me when I asked a tough question.
