Notice how they are claiming victory yet no one addressed these in your face points that no one can ignore, whoever has an ounce of honesty in them
But I have to point our that America really has no choice. Obama got position because country was fed up with Bush.
Until America actually decides to vote Ron Paul/Rand Paul.
All you'll get is decline and decline and collapse

Hey bugscoe,
In 2008, Obama announced an investigation into the rise in oil prices. Then the Commodity Futures Trading Commission concluded that speculation in the energy market is at an all-time high and is leading to higher and higher prices.
The Dodd-Frank bill was then proposed by the Democrats to put position limits on speculation. But this bill was filibustered by the Senate Republicans.
Quote from JamesL:
Obama was not President in 2008 and Dodd-Frank was not introduced until Dec 2009.

Quote from NOdietcoke:
Check your facts "munchkin" Israel has no economy if it weren't for US 3 billion cash every year and 4 billion worth of military support
And they dare tell us what to do, of course they do, AIPAC lobby is our government
As for cutting spending question, Are you aware of 700-800 billion a year military spending by USA.
Do you think there is room to cut there, don't bother answering, you aren't smart enough to answer.
As for oil being up because of Obama, I agree Obama has nothing to do with oil.
Oil is up due to Federal Reserve money printing pump. I don't think anyone claimed Obama is at fault for Oil prices.
He is guilty, if you want to look at it as, he didn't shut down the FED to save US.
He is guilty that way I guess

Wait a sec N0dietcoke...
...my quarrel is not with the Ran Paul supporters, which I think you are. There were a couple of idiots masquerading around here as thinkers.
There actually was a guy, bugsy or bugscoe or somethin' trying to say that Obama caused high oil prices and I was addressing the statement to him.
And they, the neocons on here before you showed up, were asked the question about proving Milton Freidman's theories by providing examples of them in action in the real world. and that was what the spending statement was about.
As far as Libertarian views are concerned...I see them as a LOT more legit than the current right-wing views. In fact a lot of libs, me included, would vote Independent if Ron Paul runs on an independent ticket.
Quote from Maverick74:
Get your facts straight you f*cking circus act. Neo-cons have nothing to do with Friedman. And your Communist ass would never vote for a libertarian. How would the government bail your premium selling ass out when it's time for you to get on the welfare roll. You guys really make me laugh. It would really help if you had a clue.

Quote from optionable:
Now now...calm down before you get on a redneck rampage kiddo.
The problem ultimately is corporate and foreign interests in the political system. The reason I, at this point, am a Dem is because with at least a few of the Dems have realized this and are trying to do something about it. The Reps are now openly corporate whores and feed the public the bs you have obviously internalized.
Now, get the corporate/foreign money out and the Libertarians are right on the money on this one. Then the secondary issue is the role of government. Without the monies out ain't no thang gonna work kid!
See...easy, now do us all a favor and go night night.![]()
