Obama Under "Intense Pressure" To Release Evidence Proving Russians Hacked The Election

So the FBI and DHS released a 13 page report that supposedly is their evidence showing that the Russians hacked the election. However, there's a problem. It doesn't show really anything.

http://thehill.com/policy/national-security/312132-fbi-dhs-release-report-on-russia-hacking

The report claims, without any proof, that two Russian intelligence agency which is refers to as APT28 and APT29 "directed emails containing a malicious link to over 1,000 recipients, including multiple U.S. Government victims" in the summer of 2015.

In the course of that campaign, APT29 successfully compromised a U.S. political party. At least one targeted individual activated links to malware hosted on operational infrastructure of opened attachments containing malware.
...obviously meaning John Podesta was the "at least one individual" who clicked on the malware emails. This doesn't really prove anything - we know Podesta fell for some phishing and got his emails hacked. Simply telling us he was the one who fell for the emails that "Russians" sent (though that Russians sent them isn't proven in this report) provides us nothing we don't already know. It just takes what we know and points the finger at the Russians. There are no logs, no investigative proof of any kind.

Actors likely associated with RIS are continuing to engage in spearphishing campaigns, including one launched as recently as November 2016, just days after the U.S. election.
Ah, well, that's been the US Government assertion from the beginning. The problem, still, is that there is no proof.

Of the 13 page report, the first 3 pages talk about the claim - with the first page describing the Russian intelligence agencies, the second page saying that the US government "confirms" it was the Russians (again, no proof), and the third page describing the APT29 and 28 operations, again, with no evidence.

The next 10 pages are what organizations can do to prevent themselves from cyber attacks and have nothing to do with the election hacking claim.

What a waste.

Not only that, but the report with the 'proof' that is without proof has this disclaimer at the top of it:

“this report is provided “as is” for informational purposes only. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) does not provide any warranties of any kind regarding any information contained within. DHS does not endorse any commercial product or service referenced in this advisory or otherwise.”

They use a report that nobody will vouch for to provoke war.
These people are real beauts.

Obama’s Sanctions Target Trump, Not Putin (Duran)

Barack Obama ends his Presidency with the announcement of yet more sanctions against Russia. These target Russia’s two intelligence agencies which were supposedly concerned with the alleged cyber attacks during the US election – the FSB and the GRU – and what appear to be three institutions involved in IT work – the Professional Association of Designers of Data Processing Systems, the Special Technology Centre, and Zorsecurity, formerly known as Esage Lab or Tsor. In addition to these five entities four high ranking officials of the GRU have also been added to the sanctions list. Obama has also announced the expulsion of 35 Russian diplomats from the US, giving them just 72 hours to leave, and has closed two Russian diplomatic compounds in the US.

He has also said that he will provide Congress with a report on Russian cyber activity during this and previous US election cycles. Like many of Obama’s other recent moves, this one is not really targeted at Russia. The additional sanctions will hardly affect Russia, though the wholesale expulsion of Russian diplomats will undoubtedly complicate the work of Russian diplomatic missions in the US. The true target of these sanctions is Donald Trump. By imposing sanctions on Russia, Obama is lending the authority of the Presidency to the CIA’s claims of Russian hacking, daring Trump to deny their truth. If Trump as President allows the sanctions to continue, he will be deemed to have accepted the CIA’s claims of Russian hacking as true.

If Trump cancels the sanctions when he becomes President, he will be accused of being Russia’s stooge. It is a well known lawyer’s trick, and Obama the former lawyer doubtless calculates that either way Trump’s legitimacy and authority as President will be damaged, with the insinuation that he owes his Presidency to the Russians now given extra force. Like so many of Obama’s other moves in the last weeks of his Presidency, it is an ugly and small minded act, seeking to undermine his successor as President in a way that is completely contrary to US tradition.

"I'll let in a bunch more muslim terrorists before I go", too.

Much like Saddam set all the oil rigs on fire on his way out of retreating from Kuwait.

Odumbo has been 100% consistent all along. "For whatever decisions I have to make, I'll always choose the option which harms America the most".

The kind of things ENEMIES DO!!

I think I'd like to see Trump repeal Odumbo's sanctions against Russia if warranted.... and make a public statement that "Odumbo acted like a petulant child, and his sanctions need to be undone for the sake of better Russia and USA relations."

Obama never takes the "high road". He's always a "low road" kind of guy.

Putin has just reached the stage of true Statesman.

Obama must be choking back the tears realising his petty, vindicative , sad actions helped Putin get there.

Right. Now Putin is a statesman. All of a sudden. Out of thin air. This mass Putin infatuation is bound to drive up wrist corsage sales in the florist trade.

More like he's playing it one move ahead, sucking up to an easily flattered Trump, whom he plans to play like a cheap fiddle, unless some adults take charge.

Parody? He's a Machiavellian mass murderer.

For some reason, this link does not work. Google "national review putin 1999 Russian apartment-house bombing." It will be the first link.

That's the kind of posts people write when they buy their psychotropics from the Internet.
