Seriously, it is ironic. It's not so much "right wing" though as "alt-right." The usual Senators from Lockheed, eg McCain, Graham, still want to start WW III or at least a new Cold War.
I believe this is an issue that defines the curious way in which the alt-right and far left meet. The alt-right is for non-intervention, no foreign adventures and cordial relations with Russia. That is why the neo con right of the Weekly Standard and National Review , the George Wills and Charles Krauthammers, are so against Trump. Aren't those positions the left would favor too?
The left wing's romance with fabrications is really quite fascinating.
