OBAMA: Trayvon Martin could have been me!

Quote from IShopAtPublix:

Most recent republican competitor to Obama basically wrote off half the country as losers.
And, it turned out he was correct.

Instead, we got a destroyer of nations.

You were just beginning to come into the light from the dark side, IShop. Don't turn back now.

Obama is crazy.

At least we know that Trayvon was a tough MFer who beat the crap out of a grown man who pissed him off. If Obama had thought a cruising gay was following him, I doubt he would have been upset and a pussy like him isn't going around beating people up.

Quote from IShopAtPublix:

I would not be getting too puffed up about it. Most recent republican competitor to Obama basically wrote off half the country as losers. I don't need to tell you that would include millions of whites too.
Nearly half the country ARE losers. He was right. Speaking the cold harsh truth should not make you the bad guy. We should be exalting those willing to tell the truth. Not condemning them for being honest.

I would not change my votes for Obama because I voted for him for the right reasons. I saw McCain as an insane person who would get us into a nuclear war with Russia/China and Romney as an entitled man who treated regular folk with contempt.
I wouldn't change my votes against Obama either. Because he's turned out to be exactly what I thought he was - in 2007.

Romney was all too eager to become president of the country where half the people are "losers". And he was not saying that in an inspirational way ("too many folks are suffering") he just matter of fact written off half the country as useless to him.

If you are president, you are president of all people, not just people with mansions in the hamptons, but people on medicaid, unemployed, people on welfare, college students, firemen, etc.

It is like telling a woman that you want to marry and that she has fleas.

BTW half the country does NOT consist of losers.

They're useless to me too, and most of the rest of the countries tax payers as well.

Just saw the Obama speech on NBC Nightly News. What are you guys upset about? Was there more to the speech than was on NBC? He was honest, optimistic and eloquent. One of his better speaches no hype just honesty. You guys should be proud of your president for that speech.

Here, let a fellow democrat and Obama lover explain it to you.

Obama just committed suicide with the white community. I watched the clip on CNN where he goes on about the plight "of the black men" with women clutching purses, being followed at department stores, etc.

While it is undoubtedly true, and it did happen in the past, it was not proper decorum to bring it up from the bully pulpit. Obama was not elected to be Sharpton/Jackson-in-Chief. White people gave him everything he has now or ever for that matter. His white mother gave him birth, his grandparents raised him, Columbia/Harvard education, teaching at UChicago, his keynote address at 2004 Democratic National Convention, his senate seat and his presidency. Regardless of what he thinks about the plight of an average black man, this country has been exceedingly good to him and for him.

Maybe Rush Limbaugh was right, maybe Obama was holding all this resentment all this time and hiding it, but no more.

Correction Lucrum I'm not a democrat or Obama lover and I disagree with ishop on his review of the speech.
Of course you don't. You haven't been right on anything this week. Why break your record on a Friday afternoon when you are so close to a perfect score for the week? :D
