OBAMA: Trayvon Martin could have been me!

Quote from jem:

this is all to cover up the scandals... and he is doing a hell of job of it.

I figure when the IRS scandal gets tied to axelrod or when ben ghazi gets tied to Obama and Hillary...

Obama will come out and say Trayvon was his son.

Correction Lucrum I'm not a democrat or Obama lover and I disagree with ishop on his review of the speech.

Actions speak louder than words. Like I said last week, you antagonize anyone and everyone who isn't a liberal. Your record is remarkable in this regard. If you were even the slightest bit "centrist", I would have taken note of it; I would have noticed you disagreeing with Ricter, RCG, AK-47, kut2k2, or any of the assorted self-professed lib's on this site.

You can't keep repeating the same meme and expect us to believe it, when we've never seen one ounce of proof.

WOW! Rarely do we ever hear a president make such an inappropriate statement. A total lack of leadership. He's actually taking sides, completely dismissing the facts surrounding the case, and feeding Race Baiting Inc. Can a nation become any further divided and survive?

I said the same thing. It's hard to fathom a President saying what he said. Mind boggling! The great uniter? More like the great hater (of America, and white people.)

Oh that's right, you're a registered republican.

Who:

*votes democrat right down the line
*despises all things republican
*embraces most things liberal
*makes excuses for most things democrat
*voted for Obama twice

How could I possibly keep forgetting you're not a democrat?

You nailed it! He may be a tyrant, but he's a smart tyrant. The son of a bitch!!!

Just saw the Obama speech on NBC Nightly News. What are you guys upset about? Was there more to the speech than was on NBC? He was honest, optimistic and eloquent. One of his better speaches no hype just honesty. You guys should be proud of your president for that speech.

I did not see his speech today.

I will admit that Obama is an excellent public speaker (as long as he has his teleprompters available). He is better at public speaking than President Bush.

You nailed it. Brokenarrow is so full of it we can smell him in Dallas when the wind blows strong from the west.

Quote from IShopAtPublix:

I would not be getting too puffed up about it. Most recent republican competitor to Obama basically wrote off half the country as losers. I don't need to tell you that would include millions of whites too.

I would not change my votes for Obama because I voted for him for the right reasons. I saw McCain as an insane person who would get us into a nuclear war with Russia/China and Romney as an entitled man who treated regular folk with contempt.

I agree with you that the McCain/Obama contest was very depressing.

Romney did not however say half the country were losers. I believe the context of his remarks was that 47% were on government benefits or welfare of some sort and were thus unlikely to vote for someone who wanted to cut government. At one point, people in this country would have been ashamed to be described that way. Now, they are outraged that anyone would dare criticize them.

Romney's remarks, however inartful, were prophetic as Obama managed to rally the takers to vote for him.

One way to evaluate the characters of Romney and Obama is to compare the type of campaigns they ran. Romney tried to be positive and offer constructive solutions. Obama devoted most of his campaign to attacking Romney, and sowing class hatred and envy within our society. His success is demonstrated by your inaccurate description of Romney. You bought his slime attack hook, line and sinker.

In reality, Obama has been terrible for the working people of this country. His failed economy has kept them down and Obama care has been a job killer. His radical regulatory policies have raised energy prices and cost us tens of thousands of highpaying jobs.
