Scat, this matter of wealth "redistribution" is one of several things I find inconsistent in the positions you sometimes take. In reality the country has undergone a huge "redistribution" of wealth over the past 30 years, and none of it has had anything to do with Obama. If there has been any change in this trend under Obama it would be a slowing of the trend rather than a hiatus or reversal. But it isn't clear if even this has occurred. It seems to me the trend is still very much intact in spite of the waning recession clouding the picture.

Maybe what is needed, if we are to maintain a strong and broad, middle class, is a reversal to undo some of the "redistribution" that has taken place over the past thirty years.

Yes, "wealth distribution" got its start, IMV, with T. Roosevelt in 1906. Back then it was a small thing. Now it dominates all of America... and NOT to our benefit... besides being UNCONSTITUTIONAL!
