The chinese military, for reasons you could not know, is incredibly vulnerable to US military power.

First, Guam is not a strategic B-2 base, its a place they visit. B-2s only fly out of one base in the world because their maintenance is mostly done by civilian contractors at that one location.

Second, the US response to an attack on a USN flag vessel would likely result in the largest mongolian barbecue in history. But first they would have to endure space-borne kinetic bombardment from Apple Tree and probably other stuff. The US has had nuclear weapons for a long long time now and we have sort of moved on to non-nuclear technologies.

When a 40-foot long tungsten rod hits your bunker at 16,000 miles per hour it doesn't need a warhead.
