Obama Birth Certificate Issue Goes to Hawaii Supreme Court

Quote from nyxtrader:

This is a joke. Not a tasteful joke. But I heard this on the radio this morning...

What do Lincoln, JFK and Obama have in common?

Answer: Nothing......yet!

that KKK radio must be entertaining indeed

Joking about ones life isn't nice but its a fucking joke! More importantly the dj is BLACK.

So ? Blacks can be just s racist against their own folk (or Whites). The majority of Black murders are committed by other Blacks. Sadly, Racism is not a White invention
I know it's a joke, but it ranks high on the tastelessness scale, because certainly this guy can get killed.

I agree. I don't wish death upon anyone.

Here is what has me scared. Obama has a nice lead in the polls if he isn't elected or gets 'taken out', I feel there will be more segregation than ever. I don't want Obama in office but I don't want the outcome, if he isn't elected, to be violence and what not. Sad.

I respectfully disagree with you, the fact that Obama is in this position (Major party candidate) and has a nice lead in itself proves that a lot of racial tension has evaporated since people are overlooking his race when weighing both candidates.

If he wins, race relations will get better, I agree. MAYBE young Black kids will have another model to emulate other than thugs and rappers.
If he loses, he would have lost on the "mertis" and not because of race.

I am a risk taker and I wouldn't count McCain out just yet. I would take McCain long into the election.

When it comes down to the actual election, people are going to think twice about who they vote for. Most Americans say one thing and do another, when no one else is looking.

I hope that you are right, that we have over come the race issue. I am white and married outside my 'race', when I go certain places, I still get strange looks at times.

I still think McCain's supporters are the silent majority.

McCain supporters are silent, agreed. Maybe not in this forum, but this forum is not representative.

I disagree with you on "Americans saying one thing and doing the other." Nobody tried to use identity politics (Vote for me, I'm like you !) as Hillary Clinton and she failed despite women making more than 50 % of the dems primary electorate.
Yes, some 3 or 4 % will percent change their minds about the "Black" guy in the booth, I doubt it though.
The Bradley effect dates to 1982, we've come a long long long way since.

That could very well be the reason. Is there something wrong 'marrying up' ?
