IF her husband watched a white woman get tackled (usually they are raped) by a Black man he would get more than 20 years. Lets just say he wouldn't even make it to a prison.
The Hotel Industry would strongly disagree with you.
Statistically, crimes committed in Hotels of that nature are crimes by White individuals...typically perpetrated by other Hotel patrons or staff. Also, she didn't look White too me...more like a person of color.
In addition, most rapes (you used the word raped) in Hotels are via patrons raping / sexual assaulting an employee such as a female maid or female janitor being raped by a Hotel guest.
Most hotels like that do in fact have security...not sure why there wasn't security to verify the man and his son just came down the elevator "after" the woman had already lost her iPhone.
- My favorite Hotels in Chicago are the Drake and Waldrof. Here in Québec, my favorite Hotel is the Château Frontenac.
The above info I got about crimes in Hotels are from the above mention three Hotels a few years back.
The Hotel manager (most likely an assistant) should be fired or re-educated about how to handle situations like that. First thing he should have done is ask the women for her cell number and then called the number to see if it rings on the kid cell phone.
The women tackle the guest son...that's assault right there. She's very lucky the father didn't physically hurt her in protection of his son because they didn't know her and didn't know if she carried a weapon.
