NRA Hijinks

A smattering of the gun violence across the country yesterday: One person was shot and killed before the shooter shot him- or herself yesterday in Raleigh, NC; three children were in the residence at the time of the shooting (link). An employee of a gas station was shot and killed early Wednesday morning in Notus, Idaho (link). Three people were shot and killed and 13 more were shot and wounded yesterday in Chicago, IL (link). A meteorologist was shot and wounded yesterday outside the TV station where he worked in Bruceville-Eddy, TX (link). A man shot and killed his mother and grandmother before shooting and killing himself yesterday in Little Rock, AR (link). One person was shot and killed and another was shot and wounded in separate shootings last night in Memphis, TN (link). A man was shot and killed while driving his car near the county courthouse in Fayetteville, NC, yesterday (link). One person was shot and killed and two others were shot and wounded in Los Angeles, CA yesterday (link).

I thought it was funny how Fox News brought up Australia’s gun laws in reference to the hostage incident on Monday, but didn’t bring up the U.S.’ virtually nonexistent gun laws when they covered the Pennsylvania shooter who killed six people the same day. Which country has a worse record on gun violence? (link)

You did this once before - posting all the gun violence that occurred during a given period. I'll ask you what I asked you the last time you did it (which you remained strangely silent on): How many of these gun crimes were with legally obtained firearms?

Maybe you can answer now what you couldn't back then.

Actually the "given period" was one day. And yes it was all with guns.

Nice dodge. What I asked was "was it with legally obtained guns"?

You can't answer that because you know what the result would be, which of course, is the problem you face. If you admit that it wasn't with legally obtained firearms, then no laws that you put in place would stop any of the violence and you're not addressing the issue.

Feel free to read the first 10 or so pages of this thread, where you were stumped in trying to answer how you would remove illegal guns from circulation. Everyone has plans on how to get the legally obtained ones, but none of you rabid gun control kooks have ever been able to figure out how to get rid of the illegal ones - and those are the ones causing the vast number of murders.

You can't even bring up your usual go-to bullshit about Australia being a record of a country that has successfully instituted a gun buyback program - recent events show what a folly that argument is.

Ok, tell me how I'm wrong. "Wrong" really isn't a thought out response.
What's the matter, thought hard to come by on this topic?

Let's hear your solution. Don't run off and hide now, FC.

He'll likely go hide ... I mean the bozo doesn't even know what a complete sentence is as shown on another thread about how poor old Odumbo claims every black professional his age has been mistaken for a valet.
