Two people were shot and killed in Cleveland last night (link); two people were shot and killed in New Orleans during a Mardi Gras parade last night (link); a woman was shot and killed before the shooter shot and killed himself in Longview, Texas, on Wednesday (link); a woman was shot and killed before the shooter shot and killed himself in St. Louis, MO last night (link); a man and woman were shot and killed in Gatesville, TX, yesterday (link); a 7-year-old girl was shot and killed before the shooter, her father, shot and killed himself in Rio Rancho, NM, on Wednesday (link).

Nothing to see here, I guess, just the usual gun violence across the country in the past two days.

Just a smattering of gun violence over the past few days: A woman was shot and killed and her 17-year-old daughter was shot and killed before the gunman shot and killed himself in Long Island, NY yesterday (link). A woman was shot and killed before the gunman , her husband, shot and killed himself in Harlan, KY on Saturday (link). A woman was shot and killed before the gunman, her husband, shot and killed himself in Stevenson Ranch, CA, yesterday (link). A woman was shot and killed before her husband shot and killed himself in Rowan County, NC some time last week; their bodies were found yesterday (link).

I guess nothing can be done about it. Oh well. It's pointless to try. Maybe more guns are needed.
