Nothing wrong with getting rich trading hard, but will money destroy your mind.

Quote from Lucrum:

How do you feel about adults who think you're just a punk ass kid troll with no real experience whatsoever?

I don't feel anything about that at all.

Am I supposed to ?? :p

Quote from xelite777:

Money cannot destroy you, YOU destroy yourself, money is only a medium of exchange, a tool.

It's like saying that alcohol destroys people. No, YOU destroy yourself by choosing to drink, because when was the last time you saw a beer put a Magnum 357 on your head and force you to drink it?

Money will only reveal your true personality (or "true colors" like Cyndy Lauper used to sing) : if you a truly nice person money will reveal that and you will start sharing your wealth, but if you are a SOB money will reveal that also, and you will start treating people like dirt when you get rich.

So to say ''money destroys your mind'';;
can be true for original poster= NOT a prediction;LOL.....

You need professional help. :(

funny how that works eh....

a guy like me comes to a den of traders and hardcore money lovers

and mentions greed being a problem as a common human condition

and is told how he needs to go fix himself

did I get it right :p :D

Quote from drownpruf:

I suspect there is very little that you've gotten right.

I wish I could be there.....

I wish I could be there right when it happens. When your government cheque bounces and you realize everything you did or tried to do was for nothing.

I wish I could see your face when you realize .....this crap is real and you and your family are in trouble.

Left behind, by your washington masters, as they hide in luxurious underground

You my poor fella, don't have a pass.

I couldn't agree more on that one HarbingerQ, well said my friend.

People are not destroyed by money, but rather by their own human failings (arrogance, greed, etc.).

As a constant reminder, I keep this Chinese proverb on the wall in my trading office: "Money is round and it rolls -- and it doesn't care who it rolls to."

Hmm... If my memory serve me correctly, Cinderella Lauper also sang a song called "Money Changes Everything".

True.

And the Bible says that the LOVE of money is the root of all kinds of evil (Timothy 6:10), not money (or gold) itself.

Dang another Chinese proverb. Why do they have a ton of proverbs?

I don't believe that proverb is correct and I ain't got time to write a dissertation on why it's not correct.
