They are from the F side of the Myers'-Briggs equation, they don't, by nature think, they decide by feelings. Our school systems stopped teaching critical thinking. Expecting them to critically think is really silly. I just left the dinner table. One of them, formerly in the New York Mayors office in some capacity and a devout Democrat expressed something that was factually just wrong. The guy that knows what is up was at the table, he called bullshit on what she had asserted and it became a matter of principle with her to become stubborn and argumentative... she knows not the difference between data and information and has little capacity to sort out good info from bad... If fiscally conservative Republicans weren't such incompetents they would run ads that appeal to the Feelings idiots. They would show a newborn and explain how that kid owes a half a million in taxes.. They would show how our mothers have to work to pay the tax bill...
