We don't want Matt and others like him trolling our local Wake County high schools for dates. Let him hang out in the mountains where inbred people would actually vote for Madison, Matt, and Ron.

NC went with Trump in both 2016 and 2020 so if Ron DeSantis is not right for you, you always go with Trump again.

North Carolina is No. 1 when it comes to being a state for companies to do business, says CNBC in a new report out early Wednesday.

It’s the first time the state has taken the top spot in the annual report that considers “all 50 states on 88 metrics in 10 broad categories of competitiveness.”

North Carolina finished second a year ago and regularly places near the top of other such state ranking reports.

In the report, CNBC says the ability of the state’s political leaders “to put partisanship aside” have as a result built what it considers “the nation’s strongest economy.”

“What made the difference this year? For one thing, state leaders keep managing to put aside their very deep political divisions to boost business and the economy,” CNBC reported.

CNBC ranked North Carolina No. 1 in the economy category, fifth for technology and innovation, 12th for workforce, 17th for infrastructure, 26th for cost of doing business, and 28th for health and inclusion.

The state of Washington placed second followed by Virginia, Colorado and Texas.

I see. In NC republicans running statewide campaigns or elected to statewide office such as the governor do not go to or work out of the capital because Wake county is democratic. Might want to work on that a bit.

That's like saying republicans would not want to do any business in DC because they would unhappy there and not fit in. It is true that they are not comfortable around the dem riff raff but that does not stop them.

While the Charlotte and Research Triangle Park areas are the two largest metro centers in the state -- there is a lot more to North Carolina than these two areas. You haven't been keeping up with North Carolina if you think the rest of the state is "Madison Cawthron". Is Wilmington, Asheville, Boone, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Burlington, etc. all "Madison Cawthorn"? Even Fayetteville -- the location of our largest military base -- is blue.

As noted multiple times -- North Carolina is a purple state -- with a Democratic governor and Republican U.S. Senators. And a mix of Democrats and Republicans in most other offices. Extremists such as Madison Cawthorn certainly don't fit into Raleigh -- a city which traditionally does not really support extremists on the right or left very much. Mainstream Republicans and Democrats who are not extremists (or criminals) have no problem fitting into Raleigh despite differing opinions on many issues.

It may be a good time to remind everyone that the state GOP party arranged to have Madison Cawthorn removed from office by having him primaried.

DeSantis has become the focus of his life because DeSantis can be attributed to the start of the challenge to the COVID Religion, of which GWB is a card carrying zealot.
