These Dem's like that windbag Kennedy are beginning to sound like they wish we had lost the war.

He's right in one respect. Bush is losing the "peace", but not in Iraq. He's losing the peace in the media with this ridiculous obsession over this bogus uranium issue. The administration's response has been pathetic. Why would they ever back off or appear to agree that Bush had overstated the matter? When confronting a bully, whether in Iraq or Washington, DC, the first rule is don't show weakness. This issue has been mishandled badly from the get-go, when Cheney sent that retired ambassador to Niger. Don't we have a CIA to handle that kind of job?

The demos do wish we had won the peace though.

The demos also wish, if we really needed to go to war, there would be hard evidence to have the supported the war sufficient for the rest of the free world, the UN security council, and other members of Nato to join the effort...like they had done in the Gulf War, Afghanistan, etc.
