To be able to connect them easily and be sure that if one closes it will open again itself quickly, use twsstart a little piece of software,well made that first help you to connect ninjatrader and tws using their api, and this software obliges tws to be opened so even if you close it, twsstart will open it again and login automatically like magic. I tried it yesterday after few researches on the net and every user of twsstart gives it a 5star.
