There is no way for him to backtrack and say oh I meant for reproducing. No one was stating that Nikki was trying to have a baby at 51 and was in her prime years for it.

They said she was in her prime politically and Donnie Lemons went fucktarded and said somethign really fucktarded......

Enough with Donnie..... he was no better than Cuomo and turns off so many people with his preaching and here he goes and insults a huge demographic with something beyond sexist and CNN just turns the other cheek.

If CNN does not give him a week "off" then we know how far the hypocrisy runs. If I was a female executive at CNN and the morning show had shitty ratings I would say time to go....

CNN needs to stop coddling its failed anchors. Cuomo was ripe to be fired and they got bailed out when he fucked up.

Let’s be honest, Lemon’s comment was totally about sex and child bearing. He showed what he thinks of women in his subconscious with that comment. From the mouth comes truth. And yes I know he is gay, that still doesn’t mean he doesn’t see women in a sexual way.

In my opinion, this is because he and other hosts like him have said whatever the hell they wanted to with impunity for so long. A person with a microphone that has no borders eventually finds the borders civilization has. That's what happened here.

I could go on at length about how and why Trump is not achieving lift-off.

Nevertheless, a thinking person must acknowledge that South Carolina with Nikki Haley running is not the most unbiased place to determine whether "the GOP IS DITCHING TRUMP."

If I were a dem, I would be worrying about how much Nikki Haley as vp on a DeSantis ticket would be biting into independent voters in South Carolina. She may be inconsistent in her record in some areas but she is no Kamala. Just not being obnoxious and doing loon laughs gets her there.

Having highly-liked South Carolinian Tim Scott also waiting in the wings to run or as potential VP also tilts the state's openness to looking beyond Trump. Again, a highly biased state. Which is okay. Just needs to be recognized if one is using it as indicator of what it says about Trump.

Ronda comes off as a trump lite wannabe....Nikki pandered a little in her speech and to trump early on but she seems to be moving away from the DeSantis Huckabee bullshit and going after the main issues. As usual I dont have any faith she can achieve anything she promised ("when I take office I will bring down inflation! - yeah right ..) but GOP needs to move away from trump and desantis and the Cruz/Rubio whinefests and Nikki could be way better....

For the GOP to pressure her to the VP side too early will look bad for them.... I mean if she primaries but keeps coming in 2nd or 3rd then she has no choice.

Be interesting to see how her relationship with Chris Sununu shakes out when he enters. Because that would be a way to second fiddle to someone who is not Trump or DeSantis if that is helpful to her, and if she does not look like she is going to be first fiddle. That would put a New Englander and a minority woman from the South on the ticket. Both having extensive experience as governors. And with one of them having international experience as Ambassador to the UN. Just sayin. Or rather, just musing.

She would have a great working relationship with Tim Scott too, but realistically the country is not going to go for an All-South Carolina ticket. But worse things and stranger things have happened.

Nikki is definitely not playing for a cabinet position though. She left the UN job early because that was sort of enough of that.

Lemon said that if you look it up on Google, a woman is considered to be in her prime at those ages. Harlow tried to clarify what Lemon was referencing: “I think we need to qualify. Are you talking about prime for childbearing or are you talking about prime for being president?”

“Don’t shoot the messenger, I’m just saying what the facts are,” Lemon replied. “Google it.”

He brought up the subject again an hour later, when commentator Audie Cornish joined the discussion. Like Harlow had earlier, Cornish said the idea of “prime” that Lemon was referring to was about reproductive years, and didn’t concern mental health and aging.



Not a fan of cancelling but this is a good time to give Donnie Lemons a 2 week vacation...
