So you just proved my point, thx. Bush, Carter, Ford, all lost with sub 50 approval everyone else won.
If Trump is around 46-48 % in 2020 I think he has a shot to win re election.Below 45% I don't think he has a chance

I was qouteing myself not taking a shot at you with that one![]()
Fair enough, i thought Obamas was lower than that simply because i remembered the horse race further out, and I remember the dip more that was showing six months out, i thought Romney would win at first based on that stat but then going in i thought there was no chance, simply cause he was as unlikeable and rigid as a person like hillary. I didnt think Romney would win, but i also didnt think there was a chance in hell Trump would win, i think Trump has a chance with a bit of a lower rate than that, because i think he has a skew where people are unwilling to say they like him because hes getting bombarded, but lower than 44 hes got no chance and i dont see how he even gets to that.
Bush and Obamas re election year average approval ratings.Bush 49.7 Obama 48.6

Both Bush, and Obama's approval rating skyrocketed the second they left office, and the guns werent all focused on tearing the person down day after day.
