As a person living in Canada you don't really have a strong grasp of
Trump do you? Trump loves this. It is a freebie.

Trump will benefit from this. It may cause the democrats to lose a bunch of seats they might have won. In the more balanced districts smart republicans will make this an issue. The Democrat is going to have to pick which part of his or her base he or she wishes to alienate.
The Republican just has to say he or she loves the country, loves the flag and loves the opportunity our constitution and laws give to all Americans even millionaire football players who have the money and the platform to help others in an almost unlimited capacity.
