Quote from DHOHHI:
And again we have someone who is happy at how great Odumbocare is.
Despite the problems, Mr. Donahue, 58, a retired software engineer, is delighted with his new coverage from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas. The monthly premium for him and his wife is $1,062, but the federal government pays a subsidy of $903. The couple pay the remainder, $159 a month.
âItâs a superb deal,â Mr. Donahue said.
So this guy and his wife will get almost $11,000 of their premiums paid by the rest of us this year. The guy is 58. So I'm guessing until he's eligible for Medicare at age 65 we taxpayers will pay that $11,000 x 7 years in the interim. And that money, that approaches $80,000 isn't taking into account that premiums will rise. So I'll bet that he'll get close to $100,000 of premiums paid until he's 65.
Multiply those kind of numbers by millions and millions of people. But people who are getting these kind of handouts will happily support whatever Democrat runs for President in the future. And there's no penalty if they just so happen to not really care about how (un)healthy they are since their premiums will be the same as anyone else the same age.
