New York Times turns on Obamacare

it's what they call an "edge"
you figure out how to work the system so it pays off for you
and for entertainment you can go to ET and read posts from grumpy old men who complain, "You are not doing it right!"

Quote from LEAPup:

The libtards new argument for keeping onazicare, no matter how evil, is "well, if we get rid of it now, the few million who've got the new insurance will be harmed."

And there is the key to the liberal disease: inability to take any heat from someone who claims they have been harmed.

Liberals are such suckers for sob stories. They call 'em "bleeding hearts" for a good reason - problem is, God only gave them so much blood, so they need to bleed the rest of us to keep the ponzi going...

New slogan for 2014:

"If you like your health plan and doctor, you can keep them. You just have to change your senator."

sometimes when you are getting hit by pieces of the sky... its correct to say the sky is falling.

the people I know and trust predicted the financial meltdown and are now predicting a medical industry breakdown with the need for massive bailouts of insurance companies hospitals and states.

how that plays out may be up to a core group of establishment republican sellouts and democrats.

yep... no need to worry. Our liberty, our privacy, our finances and our future rights of self determination are being protected by people like pelosi, reid, obama, mccain, mcconnell and boehner.

Quote from kid.fx.cross:

the people I know and trust tell me, eventually it will work, and become just another thing like social security and medicare

people will like it, even love it, but it will be just one more noose around the neck of the American economy

I'm about over this "Chicken Little" the sky is falling crap

but you are correct, even the left wing liberals are having pause for concern

pendulum swings

we are going back to the center

8 years of Hillary, and when the media gets tired of trying to decide what to call Bill, we could be back to Leave it to Beaver, only just a little bit poorer

It’s nice to see that at least one reporter over at CNN still knows how to do a little journalism. Today, CNN’s financial site is throwing some cold water on the White House’s inflated Obamacare enrollment numbers.

The news is not good for Obamacare.

from CNN:

The Obama administration is trumpeting that 6 million people have health coverage thanks to Obamacare.

Health Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said in a blog post Monday that “More than 6 million Americans have now either signed up for a private health insurance plan through the Marketplace or for Medicaid coverage.”

But the numbers are somewhat misleading. Here are the figures:

— 2.1 million Americans signed up for private health insurance through the federal and state exchanges through the end of December.
— 3.9 million people learned they’re eligible for Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) in October and November.

The squishiness lies in the Medicaid number. The 3.9 million figure includes people who were already on Medicaid and are just renewing,...

if you're a propaganda observer like I am

the real signal will be the elimination of the word "Bailout"

Which is what Obamacare is gong to come down to

a "Bailout" for the insurance companies

a no lose bet

You'll start seeing democrats replacing the word "bailout" because they hate that word so much because it always applied to big banks

and come up with something snappy

who knows?

"Insurance Stabalization'?

"Patient Recovery'?

ah, where is Orwell when we need him?

I haven't thought about it that much

but there has to be a new word for the bailout of the health insurance companies

you should have figured this out at the very beginning when they weren't bitching

crony capitalism at it's finest

money goes from me to the insurance company

ah well, I don't have much patience for complainers

you can always buy XLV
