"No one knows what happened except the cop is alive and the 'kid' is dead" is very convenient, eh? Another thing we know is that professional agitators like Al Sharpton are involved. They've been involved in other cases (Tawana Brawley, Duke lacrosse) that turned out to be completely different than initial media accounts. Until there's overwhelming evidence to the contrary, the media puts their spin on these stories and simplifies them to "black = good/innocent, whitey = bad."
Anyone with a reasonable IQ and bit of maturity knows this is a factor and can't be taken lightly.

The Washington Post reported earlier today that a friend of Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson says Wilson's eye socket was broken during his confrontation with Michael Brown:
The signs of easing tensions came as a family friend of the officer who fatally shot Brown came forward to allege new details of the incident, saying that the officer suffered a fracture to his eye socket in a scuffle with the unarmed teenager before opening fire.
Hospital X-rays of the injury have been submitted to the St. Louis County prosecuting attorney and will be shared with a grand jury now weighing evidence to determine whether Officer Darren Wilson should be charged in the shooting.
That claim appears to have been undermined. For one, the Post is now reportingthat prosecutors have not seen any of Wilson's medical records:

Of course, this may just all be part of the ongoing and ever-present effort to find news where none exists in order to fill space.

Just curious, but why is it so illogical to want to wait until all the facts are on the table before making a decision on it? That's a right-wing flaw, is it? Waiting for the facts before rioting and calling for the arrest of the policeman?
That's been evident since you returned to this forum.
Speaking of rioting, I really do feel bad for all of the businesses that have been destroyed/damaged. Many of them are black-owned, yet the media and Left seem to have no sympathy with them. It's all about glorifying Brown and the "righteous anger" of the protesters.
And regardless of whatever facts emerge on this case, it doesn't change the fact that Brawley, Duke lacrosse, et. al., were blatant cases of defamation and "Ready! Fire!!! Prosecute! Aim!" by the media/agitators. And Sharpton never apologized for either case. That tells you all you need to know about his character.
I'm not sure who is more worthless - the agitators in the media and the form of race hustlers like Sharpton and Jesse, or the apologists like dbphoenix.
