She may not be your "type" for one reason or another, but she is certainly attractive. If a woman must be absolutely stunning for you to acknowledge her, then you would do well to ask yourself if you really even like women. It pays to know which sex you are opposite of.
Because i was wrong for the last 5 years lol... Just found the apt i really wanted, and now it just was a bit foolish looking back.
I could turn around and throw it on the market for 100k less, but I don't really see the point right now. There has been a surge of supply in my building and similar buildings in the area (1 br high rise luxury condo uws.)
Just to see whats out there, i went to a few open houses in my building and next door, and there was a steady stream of people checking them out. But after talking to some of the "buyers," it seems like the vast majority are like me (homeowners who are trying to gauge the mkt, or lowballers.. aka bidding 15% under listed)
Deals just aren't getting done, and i don't want to push the offer down to find a bidder. Essentially, my 3-5 year time horizon got pushed back to a 7-10 year horizon.. lol.
I bought every one of my homes by lowballing, at the bottom of the market, for each cycle. I bought my Camano Island home for $190,000 when it appraised for $435,000. SOld it in 2005 for $690,000. Lowballing rules. it pisses people off, but who cares, once the home is mine they're gone. Find a desperate seller in the right circumstances and you can rob the guy. Is trading any different?
