There seems to be some in fighting in the democratic party, old guard vs new guard. The new democrats are definitely more left winged, self described socialists and questions the extent of Israel's relationship. The old democrats are way more capitalist friendly, very close to Israel some would argue too close, more in tune with the economy, they signed off on Dodd frank act trump signed in early 2018 ,

What do you guys think this means going forward ? Is there hope the green deal won't become a reality and new guard get pushed out, or are we doomed... The old guard democrats are horrible in my opinion, but if I have to pick a poison, I would rather them. The new green deal is absolute destruction of the Petro dollar and US Dollar, its literally economical suicide... I understand why climate change is important but anything in moderation is always best, the consequences if this passes are quite worrying even as a Canadian... I don't think it really matters, if the democratic party wins in the next election, the deal might not see light but will definitely see talks of it, somewhere within 10 years it will be in effect, and 10 years after that day its game over. Hopefully we have 8-10 years before it actually gets implemented, and 10 years delay, giving us 20 years before destruction of North American economy in good case scenario. But why would anybody self inflict this on his own country ? It's sick and almost demented why people who are supposedly working for the people fuck up society with something like this, but mainstream media isn't even destroying this, some of these clowns are co signing this garbage, you can't be stupid enough not to be able to understand the severity of such non sense, this is a setup from within! But why ?
