It doesn't seem logical that you would need a top-of-the-line gaming rig to run a flight simulator. It's not like a FPS. Which flight-sim software are you looking to run?

My understanding is for VR a newer graphics card, Nvidia 30 series or AMD equivalent, are going to be a better option. It doesn't seem logical that you would need a top-of-the-line gaming rig to run a flight simulator. It's not like a FPS. Which flight-sim software are you looking to run?

"If you can't beat 'em ..."Computer finally came and is up and running. It is bloatware free, nothing extra. My kids are aholes though. They laughed as I pulled it out of the box and it is loaded with all the lighting crap. They said they had the option of taking most of it off, but decided to laugh at me when I saw it. Unfortunately for them, I have it setup behind my desk, so I don't see the stupid lights.
