With his conspiracist makeup it indicates to me he has lost a sense of control over his own life and trading. Conspiracy is the refuge of the lost looking for meaning.

As Rocky paraphrased Gandhi ;) "It ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward" and that resilience diminishes for nearly all with age and especially trading own money. Except for Anthony Hopkins in "The Edge" hehe.

I was assuming he did that working through a firm or it was OPM anyway? Dunno.

Trading is not rocket surgery even now (can be) however between 1977 and this time it must seem a bit of a blur.

I had 9 nice 19 car scalp trades on ES and distracted by car specs I am taking heat on the tenth. My own brain is getting soft.

Mr Nearly Martingale and I have met too many times to get out of shit recently.

Larry Williams was trading OPM (in parallel) when he won the world trading competetion.

Now..he had some issues as he did well but the customer accounts tanked over the period :) Investigations did not find him guilty of playing tricks I believe.
