Not a lot of trading time, had some work but don't tell the government they'll be rolling out a hard lockdown with soldiers to keep us home if they found out.

Took NQ long 11468 , exited 84 +14pts.

Method or the Market feels slow and ploddy and simple as not getting rapid direction changes, so perfect.
 
Came to the conclusion, I had lost the plot massively....

I was watching every market tick and trying to jump on every turn and move then trying to also hold for 50pts+ to make all the losers worth while, just adding to the losers.

Had a break, all calm and normal and can see clearly what the trades are.

Market sure do play with your head don't they!!

Fed in 7mins see if that picks up the pace a bit, never seen the markets so slow, have to keep checking connection is okay, it's that damn slow!

Motivation to get back on = LOW!!!

30lwma for direction

If 30 has direction then trade range of 14lwma High and Low +/-0.05%

If 30 is flat then play 30lwma high and low +/-0.1%

KISS! Stop changing muppet just confused first few hours back, 49 and getting dementia i swear.
 
Only Demo trades, but this is starting to Gel in my brain cell :)

Trade setups.... ( all longs )


1. 30lwma is going upward, 14 range is above, buy on pull back to low or if slow near mid point, SL 14 or 30 range.

2. Market drops below 14 low, when it turns back into the 14 range then Long SL at new lows, working great today.

Basically no trades outside of the 14's range as too high a risk it'll continue, patience.

Lots of setups to keep my interest, but not overly manic that'll it'll blow my mind :)

Demo tomorrow, back like Monday next week is the plan, short Demo run Monday before hand to remember after the weekend LOL
 
Dumping outter range makes me trade everything as chop then the SL becomes huge.

Dax just reversed right after hitting SL LOL can't make this shit up LOL

So focus on direction and range with a tighter SL, ignore flat markets, only trade with wind in my sails.
 
What's working best today is.........

30sma over all direction.

12sma range, Mid + H +0.04% and L -0.04% Trading Range with 30.

16sma Range H+0.06% and L-0.06% Buffer Zone for SL.

back to SMA's, smoother!!

Golds been shite, keeping on the back burner for when Index's go slow.
 
Method in Demo is working well, nice directional day on UK100 which makes it easier, try to move back to Live $1 later and get back to $10 by the end of the week, pending performance.
