Back to Demo as bad time to trade so mastering / learning not to trade this time.

Took break above 42 0.01% 13735 exit 13743 +8
Rejoined Long 13740, SL -6, saw the 10sma turn and where I should of exited, phone call, exiting would of been the right thing to do, only a tiny loss so fine.
 
CHANGE Again FFS!!!

Envelopes work at times, but choppier markets like today they fail as no predictive value to chop top / bottom.

42ema rule still in play 100% and staying.

But got to master Live BB setting BB 10-2.4Dev.

Set SL at 8 Fixed, can't really apply moving SL to a BB as it's a BB :(
 
Method failing due to weak ass day to the extreme.

Faster day know I'll miss my 0.03 ish range, so lets put that back in as the BB will be approx 50pts away and going the wrong way.

need to update the rules but I'll watch for a while first.

Method check, don't trade Fridays well Demo mode incase I want to see why I don't trade Fridays.

Big 100pt swings have all stopped, which is sad, very sad :(

42ema 0.01% awesome, that's pretty ingrained to not bother trying to trade against.

Must get on this Proper Tuesday, until then, watch and chill.
 
Update V3 to the Rules.

Settings, Envelope 42ema 0.01, Env 10sma 0.03 and BB 10sma 2.4Dev

1. Only Take positions based on 42ema 0.01% Above longs and direction and vice versa, if 42ema flat then range trading acceptable.

Entry rules
a. if 10SMA Strong then then join near 1sma or out to 0.03%, following Rule #1
b. if 10Sma Weak, then play the BB Range, following Rule#1

3. if 10sma changes direction after entry, Exit ASAP as odds are Momo will power though 42ema but not guaranteed, rule #1 don't fight the 42ema EVER!!

4. SL Fixed at 8pts, no auto follow or auto changes so I can adapt ( can't do much as BB trades outside Envelope range )

5. Hold until, varying on market conditions.
a. Until 10sma changes direction or a significant pause.
b. Other side of the BB vague target but on a pause also

6. Single Position only

7. Repeat till rich or dead.
 
Need to get back on this, need the £££££'s.

SAAB fuel pump went, £54 first quote, PAIN in the ass job without ramps, so bought a nice 1.9CDTI Vectra for cheap to rock around in, 30miles fuel gauge didn't move I LIKE!!
 
Demo trading camp till I'm perfect.

Trade 1 -6 turned about to bail -1 too slow, just went +20, looked like a short but 42ema wouldnt let me.

Plan be bang 100+ demo trades out till i can trade it in my sleep.
 
Method Scrub, just not working often enough, too much bored time and yeah dunno, no likey!!

So onward and NEXT.......

Envelope 30sma 0.01 and 0.05 Direction to trade with and range to exploit, don't trade against.

Envelope 8sma 0.03 and 8sma, Shorter term direction and range to exploit, only with the 30sma's direction.

Work out and rewrite rules after some demo / watching time.
 
Method worked for today, did a batch well 5 demo trades and not a loser, easy as easy, but ofcourse tomorrow different day, different market conditions.
 
RESET!!!! Simplify!! or DIE!!!

12sma + Envelope 12sma 0.04 channel, enter with direction near the SMA.

Envelope 6sma 0.02 Use to spot early 12 trend changes, ie price drops sub 12sma and 6 turns down, join the 6 on the down and made +13 of that earlier.

6 demo trades, zero losers in this am, so rewrite rules!!
