Update V4 to the Rules.

Settings, 12sma + Env 12sma 0.04 and Env 6sma 0.02

1. Join the 12's direction near the mid SMA or using the 6's range to join direction.

2. Watch for 6 directional change with price trading other side of the 12sma.

3. SL Fixed at 8pts, no auto follow or auto changes so I can adapt ( can't do much as BB trades outside Envelope range )

4. Hold until 12sma changes direction or a significant pause.

5. Single Position only

6. Repeat till rich or dead.

I thought the whole point of trading was to make money, not to have excitement.
The excitement can come while spending the money.
Why not try to find a few good trades a week, and let the money build slowly

Bored = Switched off and doing something else, fine line between bored and excited gambling / stupid trading.

Cause I get limited time, and when that time is available I like to watch charts and place trades and make money, then switch off and do something else.
 
Market, too fast and too scarey trying to trade with a 8SL is pointless pretty much, so waiting calmer, massive sell off scarey bad news no doubt.

Still demo, but itching to go back live, I suck Fridays so likely next week.
 
Still over complicating something simple, ie trading incase any are wondering and need it pointing out.

Direction vague, Range vague and a tight SL so can be wrong many times without caring or trying to be clever cause 5 trades in brain is spent and gone.

Setup.

12LWA
Envelope 12LWA 0.04 ( dax ) and 0.08 ( NQ ) ( range more 0.04 Slow, 0.08 Manic )

Logic...

Go with the Vague direction using the range and a tight SL thinking 6 + spread so 7.
 
Method tweaks based on back testing.

Envelope 42LWA 0.01% might put the rule longs above, bla bla back in play, see live tomorrow.

11 LWA and Env's 11LWA 0.04 and 0.08%

LWA is scoring highly compared to EMA and SMA.

Calling a range with direction relatively accurately is the issue and will practice tomorrow via Demo for awhile.
 
Method looks, well as good / bad as any, demo trade, just bang them through to gain confidence / learn the setups and get over the fear of taking good setups.

So far +9 Dax short just.
 
14LWA 0.04 and 0.08 better, isn't changing direction, calling ranges better.

Working well, today, very well today, demo, so the curse doesn't apply ofcourse.
 
Demo days only 8 trades but +113pts with 2 losers hitting SL for -9 each.

Crazy day, which I do best in, just on direction make +35 on 1 trade in mins.

Slow days kill me, see how tomorrow goes Demo before risking my rapidly declining funds.
 
42LWA needs to go back to being, not something I trade against, massively improves odds on not losing and not losing more is better than the odd trade missed.

Just got to keep the same, Click, don't move SL away, let it hit and 5min wait, then click and repeat, do need a 5min wait though playing the same trade = emotional.

Getting there, IF this translates to Live Trades I'll add.
