Risk to Reward on the Env 6sma 0.02 is fantastic if it barely scraped 50/50 win rate due to possible stop out spikes.

env 20sma 0.01 is well tested over all trend wise.

the 20 0.08 its enough space for 20sma strength traded to not be overly SL'd out, not going to use in Chop cause Chop kills me when it turns to trend, hard to exit SL wise...

But a turn up from the ranges of the 0.08 often become good direction trades via the 6, rather than trusting a weak range to call a bottom badly.

No taking 6 sma trades against the 20 if the 20 is strong cause just going to get trampled.

NQ currently I'd have to wait for a pull up to 9090 area to join short using the strong downward momo, or a pull up then a turn back down via 6rules.

Watch in the am with breaky, then another manic day, but no Dev work, had enough, time to be making $$$'s not wasting time, chasing a grail I'll never quite find.
 
6 0.01 minor tweak did it before 00:00 all fine :)

Not trading, but studying the 6, NQ just broke back below the 6, paying attention short @9099 ( 20 is up, not a legit trade at all, just theory work, to master method )

20 kicked it back up, as expected, last turn up with 20 mixed so fine moved nearing 20pts.

So 20 up, broke below the 6, need to join the 20 up maybe ??

Issue being, I only want to join long on a 6 cross.

Too slow, wait till the am!!

20 0.01 - 20 0.06 and 20 0.10, .06 is a better target point to watch for reversals often.
 
NQ turned up perfect entry around 9106, ran 30pts right from the 20 0.01 zone.

Tough ask, joining a 20sma direction, sounds easy but looks thin, but works 60%+ of the time, with a great R:R ratio.

Ran 40pts here, worth a 2pt spread for sure.


Try to trade smarter, less shotgun learny, more focused smart trades and hopefully a better profit.
 
If I'm trading via timing turns via the 6, then the SL needs to be just under the prev low right before the turn.

Tricky timing wise, need to allow 2 positions for 20 joining....

1 On pause in the 20 0.01%.
1 on Pause near the 20 0.06% ( Set Limit Order where I want it, cause I always miss the quick pull back and end up with 1pt better )

2am work it out more tomorrow, system not changing, cause it works just as always tricky live.
 
Final setup slight run over.

18sma + env 18 0.02 and 0.08, the 0.02 creates a good trend entry area.

Then

Envelope 8sma 0.01 and 0.04!!

Pretty close last night, ish!!

Looks peaceful and calm!! which I like!!
 
Last change, I HOPE!!

Back to 5sma 0.01 only.

18sma + Env 18sma 0.02 and 0.05 Entering on 18 trend shouldn't need more than 0.05, only needs above for chop and I don't trade chop.

Generally Plan is............

Wait for 18sma to get a direction moderate to strong ( hard to judge still )
If up, look to take a long near 0.00 or -0.02%
SL out to the 18 0.05

Env 5 0.01 is short term direction, DAX has been tracking up the lower 0.01% the last 11mins, just turning down
 
Method is working, damned if I know how to use it live, it's different enough as to be making me worry currently, not had much screen time mind.

Looking like a keeper :)
 
The Env 5 0.01 is too wide and therefore to slow and messy to be fair.

Swapped to a ........

5SMA plain and simple.

I should of gotten the last turn up, Long @13245 ran to 58 +13.

It'll work, it'll work!!! Going to MAKE it WORK FFFS!!!
 
Range Trade +12, got out to early, SL of 6 so worth it.

Risk to Reward is what to focus on here, so joining 18 and sitting on it and watching it grow needs to start happening.
