Need somewhere to think out loud,

SL Placement quick check DAX and NQ Friday, how many false stops, how many times did range hold, how many actual turns / breakouts.

DAX Very few fake SL hits nice!! Very Few SL hits at all, if I don't over stay my welcome, thinking 5mins and Close position, wait for a new setup.

NQ not quite as good, rough before 4pm here so first 90mins of USA open, likely stick to DAX till 4pm based on Yesterday.
 
Trading okay so far, AutoSL worked great aswell, dumped last trade +6pts, saw +30pts seconds later, typically but hey.

Keeping the Losses small and manageable to stay in the game, is key, scalp rules in effect.
 
4 Trades, broke even, must apply myself more, must get over this worrying it'll lose and just watching AGAIN!! LOL

80%+ of trades will get to small profit, then a matter of taking if that's all it'll get to, about 50% do well ie 2x's SL cost, 50% if welcome over stayed lose, but can bail for small profit but got to be in it to do so.

WORK HARDER!!!
 
Method, clearly not working in live trials on DAX this am.

10's more cross and direction likely to change.

I'd put a ENv 4sma 0.03 on the chart and that was driving the market better.

Slowed to a 5sma 0.03 and added a 0.08, went to a env 10sma 0.02 for over all direction and hey presto looking better.

More jump on current direction, rather than play a range which is predictiony really.

-6pts on the week so far annoyingly, but here all day :)
 
Why can't I get a break ( yeah crap trading I know )

Joined up move on DAX realised what a bad day it was, tightened SL so only -6pts be wayyyyy worse here, should of flipped sides.

Method shaping up quite nicely, another move higher would of been nice but hey :( LIFE!!!
 
Tried another long dax doh! Saw +5 sl hit -8.

Short dax took +14 could of taken +60.

Likely method is strong directional markets, looks possible in chop, keep improving then increase lot size slowly.

+1pt today should quit while ahead lol
 
+32pts here, getting head in the game :) really liking new method :)

Setups are getting more accurate well my taking, before it's seeing -6 and only getting to +4 where as barely seeing -2 and getting to +8 so better use of the range.

Sadly on +$32 as training size still, need more confidence before I can handle $10 per pt again.

Progressing, starting to feel like I can and WILL make this work within my 3month time scale before I have to get a damn job :(
 
+83pts here :) new method is a keeper I think :)

My Improved Overwatch SL EA is helping keep me on the straight and narrow as planned, even when I tried to do a stupid trade picking a bottom, it went fine, but SL 4 so wasn't a big loss and not stuck in for 4hours wasting timemoney.
