All 3 positions closed here, would of got me near BE on the day, typical!!

I need 24sma back in aswell or close to, don't trade against, take chop with 7's and 24's direction matching, take small profit, repeat!!

$50 Sent, so back to where I was when I started, no biggy, try again, to not screw it up.

Rules are, I play the range, with direction, I take a small profit maybe 20pts and I repeat, my entry is such that my SL is tight and fixed and I let it hit to save what happened today.

Why was I even trying to get a double bottom off 7476 area, can't believe I saw +25 and let it still go against me again.

Try to get it right tomorrow, tired, stressed = disaster!! :(
 
These very wide ranging days are very tough to navigate, ESPECIALLY when they come out of the blue for no fundamental reason. I took 30 points out of the nearly TWO HUNDRED POINT range today, and consider myself lucky.

I took a none counter trend bottom fishing trade totally off system cause had no time wanted to hit target, got emotional and lost plot.

1/10th size training day, highlihhts stick to plan and thats it.

Method works, just been watching ( not enough cash in account to trade dax margin, nq later )

So, go with 7 direction, play ranges for resversals on strength, need to just play range everytime pretty much setup, don’t move SL fhe wrong way, dont get creative, switch. Brain cell off, repeat until rich or dead.

Very simple process but cant teach a EA to read strength and guess at entry and when to exit, sadly, S1 charts might have a chance S5 maybe, Ninja Trader support S1? Might be worth a look.
 
All these years and only edge 7sma based envelope ranges lol

Im going to allow 2 positions as hard to judge entry.

Going to set SL to 0.11% line from 7sma, SL range 4 to 10 ( fixed 8 currently )

Going to put the logic back in so it tracks and reduces risk automatically ( retightens SL if i move ) if i tighten it wont go back mind.

Back to demo, improve code, prove concept, back to $1 next week and try again.

Easy as eating pancakes!
 
My EA basically wont let me do anything other than stick to the plan, trades like yesterday 4sl , no harm done, but not going to try to pick a bottom with a 4 sl so in theory should keep me on the plan for ever ever more.
 
Stops back auto moving, tracking outside my 7sma 0.10% range, moving in 0.5pt intervals ( won't work on currency ) and if I move it away, it snaps back, so decision is made these are the rules I have to obey.

I can reset SL to a lower point, if the MA's moved my way!!
 
Going 11sma based, easier to read direction, less changey.

So

11sma
Envelope 11sma 0.05 and 0.10 less clutter aswell.
