This is perfect, just pay attention to the 14sma's direction and get out of dodge if it turns against you and respect the damn range for taking profits, if it breaks out while in sweet, but expect it won't in these conditions.

Ofcourse, perfect in this slow market gets ruined by a position taken 6pts say from the low, then it gets to +3pts and reverses many many times just to drive me mad before going for the SL like crazy.

Trialing a BB 14 2.6dev, I really would like to master BB's live, I think there is an advantage.

Sleep, then early morning trades maybe, over smashing it at the gym for new bird when she's back off holiday in 2 weeks :)

Back to faster Envelope 11sma 0.01 and 0.04, annoyingly working great ( yeah I know it's the right time of day to use it ), like +$700 on a US30 trend move, typically, but when I'm in a trade, go more than 5pts my way, well no!!

Also BB 24sma 2.4Dev looks pretty smokey to, the SMA line 24 works well and the BB range looks consistent.

Damn Markets, Damn Jinx, Damn German Ghost who can seed random number generator on a crappy phone app, who likely has it in for me as I've been using his house as a shag pad for about 4years, blaming him for my bad trades, damn you 'Fred'.
 
Back to trading DAX for a while, 1/2 the damage.

Added Envelope 42sma 0.05, good range for slow trend.

Trying to put it all together STILL!!

Thinking about multiple entry method, based on 42sma 0.05% range.

Basically, my Auto SL software, upon detetcing a trade being placed, places 3 trades equal distance limit orders from entry 1 to 0.05% line, all with same SL!!

Have to trade at 1/4 the size initially, then it's just a join this trend from here, then if I'm off a bit, it'll take advantage off by taking extra positions and averaging into the trend.

Envelope 42sma 0.01 and 0.05
Envelope 14sma 0.03 ( middle 0.01 deleted to weak )

Right Trade the 42's range and direction
Use the 14 0.03 as if if Long, get in near the low of.
Take 2nd position without 42's 0.05 @0.03, exiting if 0.05 breaks or Direction changes.

Realised, my patience is shit recently, before I was waiting for a better pull back with trend then reversing it, so cheaper entry, so getting to better profit not to +5pts and wanting more then hitting SL due to crappy entry.

Need to be reversing those spike downs, this above method shows me those, which I need to reverse off.

Noise is your friend, USE IT!!!

That's working, If I consider the 14 0.03% range as NOISE as it's appearing, and I only allow longs near the 0.03% low and vice versa, then 90% odds on hitting high 6pt range DAX, 14pt US30, so gets me to small scalp profit, then decide weather to hold or take thy profit!!

And Ban on trades being taken outside the range Example.

42 Uptrend, market drops below the 14's 0.03 I'm not in yet then possible falling knife, I've got to wait for it to get back within 0.03's range, ie short term momentum slowed.

Also, if 42 uptrend and 14 massive strong down, then expect direction change, wait for entries when confirmed due to above rules, no gambling.

IF Already in and it breaks outside then either Kill if looking rough, or SL outside the 42 0.05.


Shitttttt!!!! I built this on DAX, just tested on US30 doesn't work, Risks too high $200+, reward not great and too many trend changes.

I need to stick to DAX, since going US30 other than mega strong jump on, I've been failing, I've taken a lot of SL's for no reason, cause I'm not prepared for $250 SL's, where as DAX I can do it on $100 without being SL'd and death by 1000 cuts.

Determined to crack this 4:30am, my best time for thinking about an issue.

You having same issue, ever changing market, by the time you get a plan its changed again?

Patterns used to be tradeable for weeks if not months, then they'd flip and kill anyone still using it.

More computer based, more at 9:30am gmt all trading pcs will change to these setting, just like modulating shields.

Issue being, was making good money in strong matket, lose 200 or make 1000 in 20mins, sold full time to mrs and been murdering the account size, down 50%. From highs :(
 
Current thinking and working.....

Envelope 24ema 0.03 trend and 0.06 range.

Noise filter envelope 8sma 0.02, studying that tiny edge today, while working.

Dax broke down pulled back in spec, long worked, pull back worked in 3pt way so far.

Training myself to use small range, rather than ignore the edge like i normally do.
