Looking at switching from US30 to US500 SPX ?? Twice the spread cost on the bad side, but 1/10th US30 position size, not as destructive as the US30 and I can average in with a few $10 positions, more training wheels, trade the same as US30 chart wise identical.
 
Think I've worked out latest issue.


Need to slow down and consider market conditions and trade to that, simple.

Major plot lost, full time equals brain fried and doomed.

1. Tight SL with greater upside potential.
2. Trend to join, based on 24ema and 11sma range.
3. Range to play based on 11sma 0.06%
 
No trades, busy ass day and mega tired, maybe Wednesday, few things to get out of the way then back to blowing the rest of the account.

18 range longer holds., Also exits with trend for 8

Focus is on picking tight entries, using noise of the 8s range.

Surely by now the realisation must have occurred to you that there is no optimal set of parameters for your moving averages and ranges, and therefore there is no point continuing to continue tweaking them, and instead to focus on what price is doing.

Its more how i use them, requires different settings and making myself use live.

Think I’ve found over all optimal settings and improved logic to handle more market conditions.

Busy so stay demo this week, back live all being average next week and back to full time soon.
 
Brain Reset and Re Program seems to be working, it's starting to make sense again, gone are the 100pt moves, lose 15 or make 100, entries near the 8's Low/High are making sense as a worthwhile edge, exits are no longer come on give me 100pts and more reasonible, other side of 8 or 18's range.

Full time pressure = BREAKDOWN ( Everyone walks into the crowded night, your busted ) and totally losing the plot, 1's chill is back, 1 will be slaying the markets like I slay the pussy real soon!! :)

Or I'll keep lying to myself, until I believe it, you choose.
 
Method looks perfect still today, next week, doing it right i really hope.

Been profitable to lose the plot more times than i can count
 
Swapping US30 for USTEC ( Nasdaq I presume ) trades more like DAX, smaller moves = less BRAIN MELT similar to DAX, Dax Am, then both then just NQ.

Looking forward to clearing the decks and getting back in the game.

FIT bird back off holiday next week, damn I need to be making a lot of money to keep her happy, worth it for a while mind, long term hellls no!!
