Quick method review in the vague hope I get a spare 10mins to actually place a trade ( I won't )

UJ only, shattered!!

early am uptrend called and went good pts, better than 18's changed direction, arrgggghhh!!

downtrend called, only worth at best 12pts mind, but hey!!

Hold onto some good strong trend, ignore the jumping around randomly times or slow chop and this looks possible :)
 
Trades 2 up $80 first trades in ages :)

Wanting to take stupid trades counter method, so far resisting and for the best.


This could be the baby long term, feels safe not that every trade is a crazy gamble.
 
Why do I trade on Fridays, especially in the lunch time!!

Shorting GU here 1.29569, prev high play mainly, 60sma was down when I started building position, chop here, but about to turn up.

Okay, wrong side, BAIL time, hang on UJ turned up, so GU might get a pull back.

Sellers just joined the part, someone dumping :) just in time started to look ugly.

Okay maybe not higher :(

looking for a 57 exit and flip long, so exit - Comm's.

just Realised, GU chart setup wrong, 10sma not 18sma based like it's supposed to be
 
errrrm okay, all sitting there nicely going my way just about BE and BEEP BEEP BEEP, Margin call, make sense if margin would of changed, but it hasn't confused.com!!
 
Gress report, maybe regress maybe progress time will tell, hence Gress.

Setups....

Fairly good, fairly easy to trade, good odds setup will stay on trend and not buying a turn like normal. 9/10.

Holding longer term....

Setups have potential to run well, taking 5pts from a 40pt move not great, need to learn patience and when to hold and when to fold.

Risk side......

I'm trading with to many lots, tiny move against nothing really 4pts and I'm down $150 with, which is why I'm happy to bail for $50 profit as soon as it shows.

Lets move to 3positions avg wise into 1 pair, but also 1/2 again so I can trade 2 pairs same time.

Cutting losses......

Need more data here, think I'm getting better so 5/10.


50% score, room for improvement, lets aim for 75% next week.
 
Over thinking ( never goes well me and thinking ), so watching making calls, but not playing them, the calls are working just fine is the sad part aswell.

That and it's a monday and I'm all kinda spaced out and can't be arsed.
 
kicked my ass into joining a damn trend, took EJ 123.25 area.

Things to do, that's the end of my trading today :( +$40.

Method is tweaking slightly from the little bit of time I've had to watch live setups.

13sma MAE 13sma 0.02% and 0.03%
60sma still, looks good.

UJ was on fire today, totally with this method, very nice, very very nice.

Need to add supply/demand zone logic, so if market trades in an area for a while, then good odds market will change direction, so take and don't trade against expecting the trend to continue, only short term maybe 1hr back at most.

SLEEP WORK :( maybe trade early evening 4pm GMT on, try desperately to keep Friday free.
 
Lost $90 today, 1 trade, GU going down, short an up move and up move takes over, could of bailed for +$30 and should of, then up it bimbles, I quit it it goes higher then tanks later could of made good $$$'s.

Basically I'm trading like CRAP, not surprising as I get Zero time to actually trade, so it's like starting from scratch, can't exit a trade easily at a loss ever, not until it's nearing $300 then I get concerned, miss many good exits just hoping for more, even though the signs / my method is saying that's it, back up again, can't get a break at times ever.

Fast or slow MA's it doesn't really matter if I can't trade them live, I'm better off with fast so using...

8sma MAE 8sms 0.02% and 0.04% and a 18sma, the 18sma calls the directions of the trades I take, the 8's provide range bias.

Right trying to enter on a direction, on a pull back most of the time = direction change, so epic failing here. ( works great at times, but death by a 1000nd cuts = no confidence to hold for big profits to make the 1000nd cuts worth while )
 
okay, if I try to time the markets fast end result is whipsaw and many small losses ofcourse.

Too late, looks like back to the 20 range system, only thing that seems to work, just got to get better at playing it.
