So you just stated that Fauci stated it before Delta, but this changed because the virus mutated - and that's how virology worked. So Fauci had no idea that this is how virology worked and this would happen?

Yet they selected a single sentence mentioned by Fauci... just like the FOX News article today -- while ignoring all the rest of his comments were about the need for vaccination to stop a Covid surge, and the booster comment was just a portion outlining the need for vaccinations.
Let's look at the focus of Fauci's comments today...

"And importantly, it is not too late, as Dr. Walensky has said. Get vaccinated now."
Sooo...Fauci didn't actually say that hospitalizations are rising among the vaccinated but not boosted?
And over 90% of the cases in Europe are among the unvaccinated. There is a simple solution for Belgium. Follow the lead of Austria, Germany, France and Italy -- and lockdown the unvaccinated.

been detected so-far in 0.20%
And let's take a look at the math again 86.27% of adults fully vaccinated is not 87%.
