Ah! Suddenly testing more has to do with cases! Wow! Where have I heard that argument before, and who (the NPC) might have been the one to piss all over it.

And now its only about death rates, but not cases! So funny how the narrative changes. I gotta go back and find all those posts where you told me not to care only about death rates.

Maybe you need to go read the Bloomberg article outlining how South Korea uses testing to find cases that are likely to become more severe.... thus taking proactive action to address severe cases before hospitalization. With the end result of reducing severe illness and death. South Korea is a model of using testing and proper public health practices in the correct way.

I don't need to "go read" the article to know that I made the argument about more testing = more cases and cases aren't important like deaths which you tried to argue against numerous times. Would you like links in the DeSantis thread?

Tell us again how Florida uses positive Covid test results to reach out to the infected, determine their sickness level, symptoms, and underlying conditions -- and makes referral for immediate medical care when needed -- to keep the hospitalization and death levels down. This is how proper public health practices work as demonstrated by South Korea. And obviously Florida doesn't do any of this.

Florida isn't doing any of that because it doesn't care to controls our lives with Covidian nonsense. We live out our lives free of fear. And people are moving/visiting here in droves because of it. We are proud Neanderthals!

By the way, if masks work so well to stop the spread, and SK has one of the highest masking rates in the world, wouldn't they be able to stop the spread?
