NASA Scientist - Universe seems hardwired to produce life

really nice explanation of the experiment by showing the waves and the interference.
thanks.

The physicists who speculate we are living in something like a hologram may be correct.
We are all about the Light. Or more probably the Light in our universe is all about us.

Is this proof life (existence) isn't quite what we think?

We are all about the Light. Or more probably the Light in our universe is all about us.

Amazingly we only see a small portion of the visible light spectrum therefore we have a limited perception, with each color having a shorter or longer wave length. The eyes don't really see but act as a receiver for electromagnetic radiation (light) that is decoded in the brain where the image occurs.

Ancient humans seemingly understood a lot about vibrations and energy that the modern physicists are now just beginning to take more seriously, ancient knowledge that's been forgotten or hidden from today's societies by accident or intentionally.

talk about the science that would allow a fine tuned universe with a building blocks which have a drive for life baked in... without there being a Tuner or a Baker.

Chemical reaction. Nothing more nothing less. Nothing else required.

Yes it all happened by accident. Just the same as if a tornado hit a junk pile and out came a nice shiny new Boeing 747.

what does that mean then when a tornado hits a nice shiny new Boeing 747 and it comes out looking like a junk pile?

Too big of a jump between the junk and the 747, so it's not a good analogy.

As some us have been telling a certain few anti science truth trolls here...

1. We still don't have a complete plausible pathway from life to non life.

2. It seems the universe physical constants were extremely fine tuned for life... but that the basic building blocks of life were pre programmed with the materials and a drive for life.

However, she warns that there are a few steps in the process that remains a mystery: “Just because now you have all the molecules doesn’t mean you have life.”

Scott Sandford of NASA Ames Research Center added: “It’s another example of how the universe seems to be hardwired to produce a lot of the kinds of compounds you would like to be around if you want to get life going.

“If you think of all these little molecules we’re making as Lego blocks, and life as a kind of very complex, organised Lego castle, the fact that Lego blocks are falling out of the sky can’t be a bad thing.”
I suppose next you'll be telling us that some scientist from NASA says that the sky 'seems' blue on clear days.

I feel compelled to provide a comment here. Should any one go on beyond this cute video on the double slit experiment, and your curiosity leads you to a video of Tom Campbell's description of the double slit experiments, and his unconventional ideas on virtual reality, be warned. Caveat Emptor.

Cambell quoted this to end the video I just saw.

Science cannot solve the ultimate mystery of nature. And that is because, in the last analysis, we ourselves are a part of the mystery that we are trying to solve. Max Planck

I looks to me like Campbell is saying reality is probabilities until we interact with it... in short it is virtual.

Which is similar to what I wrote earlier... recent work by some top physicists suggest that our universe can best be explained by saying we are living in a holographic projection. We are bathed in light. There are even some scientists who say that everything we live in is digital.

I suspect we are living in a projection of Light.
