Nancy's hypocrasy in the minimum wage hike

Quote from sputdr:

If you could keep your emotions in check for a minute I said "John Kerry's husbands COMPANY"- Not his husband specifically.

You are just another over emotional liberal.

Oh, tell us please, then, what is "John Kerry's husbands COMPANY?" I'm sure it's not Heinz, since your have admitted that who owns Heinz is irrelevant.

Which company are you refering to?

Good lord forget it.

You are hopeless.

You're the tool JB3. Theresa owns 4% of Heinz.

The Del Monte stockholders you cite were not mere equity holders in Heinz, they were executives from Heinz. If Microsoft spun Windows Media into a new company who'd be the biggest shareholder? Gates, eh. It's that simple.

Is Pelosi ethically challenged? Of course. So's Reid (the model for the sleazy Dick Smothers character in Casino) and for that matter so's McCain (Keating) and so's Hillary (Refco cattle trading, Rose Law firm, travelgate, ect.....) and so's Obama (his recent Chicago RE deal) and so's Cheney. Gee surprise, surprise.

I expect twentysomething Europeans and Canadians who know American history as well as I know soccer (at least I've heard of Posh Spice) to think the decline of America started under evil Bush/Cheney. For Americans of a certain age to be so delusional is idiocy. As if LBJ made millions in media stocks without aid from his handpicked FCC......

politicians are all self-serving, no doubt. but u gotta give credit to the dems for implementing something that actually addresses the needs of people and not that of corporations or filthy rich pigs, and that just after a few weeks in power. still, both parties suck, congress suck. u gotta overthrow the whole political and bureaucratic system to get a fair and caring govt and me guesses u wont ever be able to do that by talking and compromising...u need a revolution: arm revolt is the only thing that'd achieve permanent cure.

Quote from Pa(b)st Prime:

Starkist is owned by Del Monte which in turn is owned by (75%) HEINZ!

Also Wikipedia "reports" that Pelosi's husband owns $17mil in Del Monte stock. We'll see if Wikipedia is forced to make a correction.

When you were shown that these were outright lies, instead of owning up to them, you continue the nonsense:

Guess what, you're still wrong.

DLM
% of Shares Held by All Insider and 5% Owners: 0%
% of Shares Held by Institutional & Mutual Fund Owners: 89%
% of Float Held by Institutional & Mutual Fund Owners: 89%

HNZ
% of Shares Held by All Insider and 5% Owners: 6%

Other than lying, there isn't really anything else you're capable of doing.

The unmitigated fucking screeching of the lowlife repuglikklans hath began. Do you want some cheese with that Whinnnneeeeeeeeeeeeee?! ROTFLMAO! :D

What management position does Wolford hold at Heinz?

Didn't you say that Heinz own 75% of DLM?

Then you backtracked to say that major holders of DLM are Heinz executives.

Now you're backtracking again. Tell us what executive position does Wolford hold at Heinz?

Yes, someone's overly emotional, that much is clear :)

Those are clearly substantive rebuttals.

"H J Heinz Co will spin off Starkist tuna, 9-Lives cat food and several other lagging brands to Del Monte Foods in deal worth about $2.8 billion; agreement will leave Heinz and Del Monte intact as two stand-alone companies; Heinz shareholders will virtually end up owning Del Monte; Heinz chairman-chief executive William R Johnson and Del Monte chairman-chief executive Richard G Wolford comment...'
