some suggestions: there are lots of wrong stuff out there, books, newsletters, forums. sometimes, those people make themselves sound so authoritative that you don't even suspect that they are clueless.

for example, you will read this sentence: trading is a game of probability. This statement is plain wrong, but lots of posters on this forum have been talking about "high probability setup." They are clueless and they make you confused.

Trading is different from learning mathematics. In mathematics, you find "2+2=4" in one book, you will find the same in another book. You won't find "2+2=5" in any book.

But in trading, you don't know who is right. Sometimes, the same person posts contradictory stuff, because she is clueless of what she is posting.
