Nice trade.
This morning I bought calls on MT, target=23.50 and
puts on IYT, target= 91.
puts on IYT, target= 91.
Got me interested Jeff. Never having traded options on stocks before. I looked at MT and that would be a trade by my criteria and I´m thinking about it.
IYT certainly is a trade but it looks weak. Going to take another look at it from another angle.

IYT is the ETF for the Dow Jones Transports.
I want IYT looking "weak" because I bought puts!
Its just about the only etf with a negative 10dma/20dma bearish crossover. Everything else is parabolic (straight up).
MT had a perfect pullback to the 30dma. Its rare to find anything pulled back to support in this market.
Look, I almost always just trade the SPY etf options, but it takes
volatility for my trading system to work. There hasn't been any volatility in all of 2012! So instead of sitting here doing nothing when the VIX tanks, I look to buy calls on strong stocks with pullbacks to some support point and I look to buy puts on overbought weak stocks (or etf's) that have a negative technical change (i.e...10dma/20dma bearish cross).

I didn´t do much, but looked at your 10, 20 Mavg. xover. Didn´t seem to work very well. Added a 9 day linear moving regression line to it and it signaled much better. I´sure there are other variations that would also work better.

Whoops! double checked and the down trend is still good in IYT. Sorry for that.
slow day eh guys.....looked at 15 different charts today and all I did was bought 3 HLF Mar 65 calls at $2.50 about $762.95 cost.
