My first post on ET in 5 years. Has the signal-to-noise ratio improved here? Thoughts?

My impression is that in terms of knowledge and ideas being shared the golden days of ET are behind us. Fortunately, old posts are still available in the archive and there's a lot of gold buried here.

I'm sure there's some great traders lurking and even posting here today, but no idea how many.

I just learned how to put someone on 'ignore'

I only learned that recently. Bloody marvellous feature. Cuts a yuuuuge amount of noise out.

....BTW, when someone is put on 'Ignore' does that mean they can't see your posts either? It would be nice to be able to hide from someone you don't want to hear from.

Ignoring someone means you don't see them but they can see you.
Block means neither can see. (When logged into ET).

These are the kind of dumb replies that get people put on ignore. Either get off your lazy bun and check him out or hold off judgment for a future date. I suggest the latter if you have any interest in this matter.
