Multicharts Ver 4.0 was just released.
I believe that will be the last version prior to "Multicharts Gold" which will track along the Tradestation et al model of a monthly fee.
So my advice is use your 30 day trial and give V4 a good workout, and try to find out what the pricing model is going to be like.
No sense in dropping $ for "old" version which will take a backseat with add-ons/bug fixes if you're going to be paying monthly fee for the "gold"
Use your $ in the most effective manner.
That said V4 is much improved even over 3.x
One thing though and there is post about it in forums. Whenever you do upgrade save your template files prior to installing the upgrades and dont forget to recompile your code in the Editor FIRST.
