Was that Beavis or Butthead? I get them mixed up!
Well I will give Mueller credit for two things:
On the negative side:
- His office was effectively leak free and tight-lipped on the investigation -- which is the way it should be.
- He adhered to the projected timeline for the investigation and only filed six month extensions when necessary. Clearly he wanted to wrap it up.
- I believe that Mueller deviated significantly from the scope of the investigation which was supposed to be Russian/Trump collusion in the 2016 election only. For example Mueller spent lots of time/money investigating Manafort for his Ukraine interacts -- all in an attempt to squeeze him for information.
- The actual indictments that Mueller came out with involving Americans and the 2016 election were for the most part "lying to the FBI" charges when the individuals answered little details wrong in a perjury traps. Mueller accomplished no meaningful indictments or proof showing Trump or his associates colluded with the Russians in the 2016 election -- which basically makes the entire investigation a meaningless waste of 40 Million dollars (on the other hand I was always one who stated that Mueller should complete his investigation).
More than likely Brexit. Not to change the direction of the thread but this is so perfectly describing what's happening here in the U.S., and their current shit storm is our not too distant future and for the exact same reasons. Those steeped in their bias will blame one or the other, but as I keep saying, the ENTIRE government is at fault, both parties are corrupt to the core, and those in power are on a globalist path and don't give two shits who gets ripped apart in the process. It's a game of distraction for these political hacks and to get back on topic, this whole fucking investigation has been, and is nothing more than another distraction.
Tweak this guys rant and he's is perfectly detailing the congress of the United States.
For now...
I would say Napolitano's sources were about as solid as jello, his contacts about as strong as fresh dry snow and his reporting on this matter... the worst of his career. He really seemed to act like he knew Trump was going down.
I will wait for the contents to be revealed, but if there are no more indictments... I will no longer trust Napolitano's reporting.
As expected leftists now pivoting to other investigations and threatening to subpoena Mueller when what we all know will be a heavily redacted report won't give them all the talking points they're looking for. Look forward to another congressional hearing so leftists can grandstand for hours on end. Anything, anything at all to keep them in their delusion and denial about what really happened. Horseshit candidate, goofy platform, equals loss of 2016 election. The only real question is, will they have learned anything at all as they nominate their 2020 candidate?

Areas of weakness in national security are exactly the things which will be redacted. Beyond that, continued and never ending investigation is all the dems have left moving towards 2020. Better come up with something other than abortion on demand up to and including birth, open borders, adopting radical Islam as the new protected class, and orange man bad. Trump should be easy to beat with a solid platform delivered by a reasonably sane candidate. So far that's limited to old white guys and they ain't exactly making the base wet with anticipation.Just because Mueller issued his report and the special counsel is closing shop doesn’t mean other areas of investigation will be automatically closed.
Also, in the report are areas where congressional investigation may be very warranted. Mueller may have uncovered areas of weakness in national security and he may have declined prosecution because of any number of reasons.
Now what we don’t want is for this turn into a Benghazi, email gate or uranium frenzy but areas of national security and weaknesses in the law need to be cleaned up or at least made public so we understand our national liabilities.
