MT5 or cTrader?

Both platforms come equipped with an almost equal number of indicators. MT5 does offer a few more types of objects such as Fibonacci, Gann and Channel tools. A few major advantages that cTrader has are a chart linking feature and detachable charts. This allows you to spread your charts across multiple monitors.

If I had a choice between these 2 platforms, then, of course, I would stop at MT5.

Haven't tried cTrader yet, but so far I am on MT5 for this. EAs work well on this and never faced any issues.

I like to trade with MT4. It is simple to use and flexible to make changes.

If you are beginner or looking for something simple, then MT4 is perfect. If you need more advanced features, cTrader most probably is better choice.

This is rather difficult to find qualified developers to programm EAs for MT5. I tried cooperationg with two guys and even though both have shown a good level of proficiency in C++, it was really difficult to work with them. I wonder if MQL5 language cuased the difficulties or that's smth else.

MT5 for me, I like the versatility
