Hey R.R,
I highly recommend not quoting that troll name marketsurfer. It allows him to continue his activities even while he's on folks ignore list.
That guy is ET biggest hypocrite which is why he will remain on my ignore list considering the moderators have difficulty in managing him in comparison to when they banned him once or twice in the past. Primary reasons why I call him a hypocrite is that he openly stated he's here to look for business partners, he's been warned several times about posting links here at ET to his own website...warned by moderators, he openly promotes vendors here that are not sponsors (e.g. T. Sykes and the russian gal), he openly promotes these folks here at ET and he has links at his website that he's financially compensated for such by TA vendors. Heck, he even posted T. Sykes broker statements here at ET for one particular month to verify the vendor (an ET member that's a stealth vendor) is legit...a stealth vendor that surf openly supports and surf is now on record in this thread complaining about "stealth vendors"...in realty only verifies in this thread about surf's hypocrisy and intentional misinformation.
He demands proof from other traders but does not provide verification himself that his own live calls are real nor does he provide any details about his "price drivers" while demanding details from others.
He should just be banned for such hypocrisy and constant misinformation.
Last of all, Baron and Joe already knows whom are the stealth vendors. They also know which ones do not market, do not advertise, do not send unsolicited messages. In fact, Joe has openly stated any stealth vendor that do not respect ETs rules...they are gone (banned). Thus, they can stay as long as they don't market their services here.
Thus, the known stealth vendors here respecting ET rules...Baron and Joe are OK with such just as long as the stealth vendors continue respecting the rules. Any ET member can easily contact Baron and Joe for verification about such and contact Baron or Joe whenever they see stealth vendors advertising here at Elitetrader.com @ http://www.elitetrader.com/co/
Baron and Joe will quickly ban them.

P.S. surf message is exactly what a troll does. surf can easily contact Baron via pm and give him a list of any ET stealth vendor that's violating ET rules. I'm sure Baron will remind him about his own stealth activities in promoting vendors that he's financially compensated.

I tried this once. I drew a trendline through the middle of this bar chart thingy. I placed a trade. The price didnt stop and reverse trend where I told it to.
I lost money. So its all complete rubbish!
(It also must be rubbish, because I didn't invent it first. Only my inventions are the really good ones.)

Good call, WRB. I frequently make the mistake of letting malcontents speak via quoting them. I will make a conscious effort to not quote him going forward. I know most people here don't want to hear what he has to say anyways, since it's a zero value add.

This thread is not about marketsurfer or anyone individually--- it's about the future of the site. Let's do Baron and company a favor by keeping it on track. My views have been stated regarding self moderation ( a huge error) --- how about more constructive ideas from here on out. surf
