Mouse (Cord vs Cordless)

So apparently I do not get double entry (if I am trading 1or 2 lots, the mouse entry

would enter 2 or 4 lots sometimes) on lots anymore since I changed to a mouse with a

cord. Is it that wireless mouse is susceptible to lagging? I tried to correct this problem

for several years now but now I know, sigh. Anyone else ever had this problem?

It sounds like your mouse button was starting to fail. This can happen with any mouse, regardless of whether or not it's wired or wireless. I work on a computer all day, and I have to replace my mouse every 2 to 3 years.

My advice would be to use whatever mouse feels the most comfortable to you and replace it at the first signs of failure. Also, check your trading platform. Many have settings that prevent you from taking too large of a position due to double clicking/fat fingered order entry.

Well any seasoned gamer/shooter wouldn't even think of using a cordless mouse. Those are for reading email.

Also a wired internet connection is probably a good idea.

I use keyboard hotkeys, so I can't relate.
But the thought of trading with a mouse and having no battery during a scalp with no other mouse around is scaring the shyte out of me rn

Yeah i always have a wired usb mouse near wireless in case battery fails.

Did you test how long these batteries last? I have a similar one with the same batteries and the same outlook. Batteries last maximum 3 months. They mention however 30-Month Long Battery Life.
All depends on how intensive you use that mouse. I use it more than 12 hours a day 7/7. And when I say use, I mean moving it, not just switch it on and click a few times every hour.

I have this Logitech G602 which you can get for about $30 on sale. You can check the battery life and get low battery notifications on Logitech's when you install their supporting software.
