Has anyone considered the fact that millions of jobs will automatically be created when baby boomers retire/die? I have not heard much discussion on this topic. Someone earlier mentioned that the USA will never be able to recover from the job losses of the recent year or so. But won't millions of jobs be created as baby boomers retire/die? Comments?
I wouldnt know how mentioning the decaying state of US infrastructure falls under the category of tinfoil hat nore would the mentioning of a US underperformance in area's such as education, health care or car making
p ) as those shortcomings are well acknowledged by most people most of the time. I have been to the States several times by the way yet most of the times I visited NY which isnt considered as part of the US I believe by most people most of the time.

Anyway, it's very hard to agree on a 'best place to live' when simple changes in your life such as changing jobs or having a child influences your needs substantialy let alone financial status, state of health or a variety on other criteria which all in their own can change perception of your current or future place of residence overnight.
I don't consider the US to be a third world nation, just to make that clear, although I do consider the country to find itself on a slippery slope since some time.
Is that because the country has set it's own standards to high or perhaps because I have been brainwashed by the dollar bears I don't know I will think about it.

US is experiencing a recovery in the derivatives economy, to which the world is invited.
The real US economy upon which the derivative economy was created is now out of step....permanently ... as the global market continues to outperform the US economy.
It is up to US to carve out a place in the new world

If you never live outside of US before, you simply don't know how good you had it.
Unless I see low income US citizen going outside of US for work, US has one of the best living standard.
